Jackson Heights maintains an active substitute teacher roster of persons certified to teach and those who obtain an emergency substitute license. Emergency subs must have at least 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university, pass a background check (including fingerprinting), and apply for a license through the state Department of Education. Interested persons should contact the District Office at 364-2194. |
