JHHS Named State Finalist in Samsung Challenge

Congratulations to Mr. Keehn and his wildlife classes for being state finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Challenge!  Mr. Keehn’s proposal is to design a way for the water to run under the ground and prevent erosion and thermal pollution that will eliminate wet standing areas and help in the water quality of the runoff downstream.  Wildlife students will use STEM to research this problem and find solutions.  They will also perform water quality tests and design a structure that can handle the load of heavy traffic and the trails involved.
