Dear USD 335 Staff,
Hello, Cobras!
I hope this message finds you all enjoying some time over the summer to relax and spend time with friends and family. After last year no group of people has earned it more, and I know that your community appreciates their school more than ever.
I am very excited to start my first year working with everyone at Jackson Heights. It has been a great transition, and I enthusiastic about what the future holds for our district. We are looking to return to normal next year (with a few added precautions), and I will be releasing a video with COVID details after the board meeting tonight.
Like last year, American Fidelity representatives will be enrolling staff virtually. Unlike last year the window for enrollment is much earlier, and all staff members to sign-up for a meeting July 19 – July 21.
Below is a link to schedule your appointment. This information is also enclosed.
Please contact the district office if you need help scheduling a meeting. If you want to make any benefit changes with vendors other than American Fidelity, you must share those changes with Sheri in addition to the representative with whom you enroll. Sometimes there is more paperwork to complete than what American Fidelity shares with employees.
Negotiations went very well and need final approval by the board. Then we will be able to complete contracts and work agreements and let you know when they are ready. I have enclosed information on back-to-school events in August and will send out more detailed agendas in the upcoming weeks. We have lots of activities happening before school starts, so be sure to read through the list.
