Sports Physicals PDF Print E-mail

Another day of free Sports Physicals has been scheduled on July 13 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Dr. David Allen's office.  Please completely fill out the front page of the PPE form, and the top of the second page.  Also make sure you read, check appropriate boxes and sign the KSHSAA Eligibility Checklist (third page) and the KSHSAA Concussion & Head Injury Release Form (student and parent/guardian signatures must be on all three forms.)  Forms should be completed and handed to the doctor.

This is your opportunity to get your sports physical completed free of charge. You may choose to get the sports physical completed at another time, but most insurance companies do not cover physicals.

Cooks:  Jackson Heights has 2 cook positions open for the 2016-2017 school year.  The job tasks for these positions entail being a good team player, food preparation, food serving, and kitchen clean-up.  These positions are 9 month positions and follow the academic calendar.  Applications may be picked up at the district office.  Apply now!  Hiring soon to fulfill summer training requirements.

Free Early Childhood Developmental Screenings PDF Print E-mail

The school districts in the Holton Special Education Cooperative provide free developmental screenings for children birth through age five. Screenings are conducted throughout the year in each home district. The screening of children who may have developmental delays includes evaluation of hearing, vision, speech, language, thinking skills, coordination, personal/social skills, and self-help skills. If you have concerns about your child’s development, please call Kay Smith at Jackson Heights Elementary, 785.364.2244.

Jackson Heights Elementary School now has an account number at Holton Country Mart.  If patrons choose to donate their shopping points to the school, money comes back to us.  When you are checking out, all you have to do is let the cashier know that you would like to donate some points to JHES.  Donations have to be done in 500 point increments.
