Jackson Heights High School is proudly sending one of its star athletes, senior Nate Linck, to represent the school at the Kansas State Cross Country Meet in Wamego on Saturday, October 28th. This won't be Nate's first time competing at the state level, as he previously made appearances during his freshman and sophomore years, earning him the well-deserved reputation of a cross country standout.

Nate's remarkable journey to the state meet hit a high point this past Saturday, October 21st, at the Regional Cross Country Meet held in Council Grove. Despite tough competition and challenging terrain, Linck powered through the race, securing an impressive 8th-place finish.

Head Cross Country Coach Gary Keehn spoke glowingly of Nate Linck's achievements and what he brings to the team: "Nate is an exceptional athlete and a leader both on and off the course. He's shown unwavering dedication to the sport and consistently sets a positive example for his fellow runners. His presence on the team has undoubtedly contributed to our success."
