Jackson Heights Students Shine at NEKMEA District Honor Concert
We are thrilled to announce the exceptional accomplishments of four talented musicians from Jackson Heights who recently showcased their musical prowess at the NEKMEA (Northeast Kansas Music Educators Association) District Honor Concert. Seventh graders Cameron Alley and April Slipke, along with 8th grader Matthias Ramey, performed brilliantly at the middle school concert, while sophomore James Bottom represented our school at the high school level.
The NEKMEA District Honor Concert, held on Saturday, December 2nd at Seaman High School, brought together some of the most talented young musicians from across Northeast Kansas. These students underwent a competitive audition process to earn their well-deserved spots in this prestigious concert.
Cameron Alley, April Slipke, and Matthias Ramey captivated the audience with their musical talents, showcasing their dedication and hard work. Their performances at the middle school concert were nothing short of outstanding and truly reflected the high level of musical excellence at Jackson Heights.
James Bottom, a sophomore, delivered a remarkable performance at the high school level, standing out among his peers with his exceptional musical skills.
