Jackson Heights Pep Club and Pep Band Ignite School Spirit at Sub-State Semi-Final Game
The energy was electric at the recent sub-state semi-final game as Jackson Heights High School's Pep Club, led by the dynamic Brandi Fritz, and the talented Pep Band, under the guidance of Mr. Sean Moore, rallied the Cobras' supporters in full force. Despite the outcome of the game, the spirit and enthusiasm displayed by our students were nothing short of extraordinary.
On Friday night, a pep bus packed with spirited students made its way to the game as our beloved Cobras prepared to face off against Sacred Heart. Although victory may not have been in the cards for us, the fervor and passion exhibited by our school community were truly awe-inspiring.
One of the standout highlights of the evening was the unwavering dedication of our mascot, Striker. From the moment we departed Jackson Heights High School until our return, Striker remained in full costume, embodying the spirit of our school and rallying supporters with infectious enthusiasm.
Additionally, our Pep Band rose to the occasion, becoming the unofficial soundtrack of the night. Led by Mr. Sean Moore, the band delivered a stellar performance, showcasing their musical talents and lifting the spirits of everyone in attendance. Their rendition of the national anthem was hailed as one of the best to date, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening of school pride and unity.
