Jackson Heights acknowledges March Seniors of the Month: Taylor Bosley and Nathaniel Parks
Taylor Bosley has participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field, cheerleading, JCYC, FBLA, StuCo, Cobra Mentors, and Honor Flight. The funniest thing that has happened to Taylor was in her sophomore year of high school at prom. Taylor recalls “I saw a mouse in the DJ’s speaker and everyone freaked out while watching the mouse bounce up and down.”
Beyond academics and extracurriculars, Taylor likes to spend her free time with her friends and family, fishing, tanning, and playing with her dog. When asked what it means to be a Cobra, Taylor responded, “Being a Cobra has taught me how to be a leader, to be responsible, how to set a good example, and how to be a great friend to others. I take pride in being a Cobra!”
After high school, Taylor will attend Washburn University to major in business.
Nathaniel Parks has been involved in FFA. A standout memory for Nate throughout his high school was having Mr. Smith showing off how the staff have won Aggy Olympics, during FFA week, for 6 years in a row. Nate reminisced, “With the seniors winning this year, it was a funny memory for me.”
Outside of the classroom, Nate’s hobbies include working on vehicles along with building model cars or anything mechanic related. Nate spoke about what it means to him to be a Cobra, stating, “being a Cobra has helped me show me there are other people that like to do what I do. That the community is a large and helpful group if anything happens.”
After graduating, Nate plans to work as a diesel technician focusing on semi-trucks and diesel engines.
As we celebrate the achievements of Taylor Bosley and Nathaniel Parks, we recognize their remarkable contributions to our school community, both in academics and extracurricular activities. Congratulations to our March Seniors of the Month: Taylor and Nathaniel.
