Jackson Heights families in need of support with back-to-school supplies are encouraged to apply for the upcoming School Supply Assistance Program.

This program is designed to help ensure that every student starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Applications are being accepted for a limited time, so families are urged to act quickly.


Important Dates

  • Application Period: June 24 – July 27

    No applications will be accepted after July 27.

  • Supply Pick-Up Dates:

    August 6 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM

    August 7 from 8:00 – 11:00 AM


Income Guidelines

To qualify, applicants must provide proof of need. Please attach one of the following to your application:

  • Free/Reduced Lunch letter from your school district, or

  • DCF paperwork showing you receive assistance


Fees

Please include the appropriate fee with your application when you drop it off:

  • $10 fee – if the child does not need a backpack with supplies

  • $20 fee – if the child does need a backpack with supplies


How to Apply

Applications can be turned in at:

227 Pennsylvania, Holton, KS

(Drop box available between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM)

Simply place your completed application, proof of need, and fee in the drop box.


Pick-Up Information

Supplies will be available for pick-up on the dates listed above. You will receive an application number the week of August 3rd — please bring this number with you at the time of pick-up.

Applications are filled in the order they are received. Please note that this is a donation-based program, so substitutions may be made if supplies run short.
