Duke Condo had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., as an FCCLA State Officer. This experience gave him the chance to learn more about our nation, discover more about himself, and explore career paths that he may want to pursue in the future.
Duke shared, “Through this opportunity I learned more about our nation and myself! I also discovered career paths I am interested in through this experience. Advocating for FCCLA and Family and Consumer Sciences allowed me to speak on behalf of 3,000 Kansas FCCLA members about the importance FACS classes have in our schools, communities, and state.”
We are incredibly proud of Duke for using his voice to advocate for FCCLA and Family and Consumer Sciences and for representing Kansas FCCLA members in Washington, D.C.!
