Mrs. Morris was recognized by KAEA as the Outstanding K-12 Art Educator for 2021-2022.
Katie was nominated for the award by Charleen Stessman. She stated that Katie, "From the beginning, but what surprised me was not only her depth of knowledge about the profession, but her willingness to step up and lead with boundless energy!.”
Katie's award was presented during an awards banquet at the KAEA fall conference in Wichita, Kansas, on October 30.
