This past weekend several students auditioned for district band or choir at the high school level. Madeline Murnahan was selected as the 3rd chair clarinetist in the 1-4A band for the northeast district. Jesse Joiner was selected as one of the Bass 1 singers in the mixed choir for the northeast district. If you see either of these students, be sure and congratulate them on this achievement. Both of these students will join the middle school band and choir students at the district concerts on December 4th at Topeka High (choir) and Topeka Seaman High (band). I hope that some of you will consider attending these concerts and supporting these students.
