Elementary Awards that were not picked up Monday night are in the office. There will be someone in the office all week - stop by, ring the bell, & your packet will be brought to you. Every student had a packet. Otherwise, packets will be passed out in August.

The Kansas State Department of Education is sponsoring a student led event created by senior leaders around Kansas. Senior Appreciation Day is this Wed., May 20. The USD 335 Class of 2020 is invited to participate in this celebration.


"Reading to the mind is what exercise is to the body," according to Joseph Addison. Scholastic Summer Read-A-Palooza is a free reading program where students can earn rewards and unlock book donations. Check it out at: https://www.scholastic.com/site/summer/home.html.

Thank you to the Jackson County Sheriff Department for leading our JHES teacher parade on Friday. Having a parade escort made it extra special.
