Today, our e-sports team is headed to Highland Community College to compete in the Grand State Championship for the state of Kansas. It is open division among all the schools in Kansas that won the state title in their own division. Now they compete against the whole state for the big title. FBLA will be serving a free will donation soup supper during the game tomorrow night
Friday night, FBLA will be serving a Potato and Chili soup supper during the High School Basketball game. It will be free will donation.
The schedule for next Monday's Christmas Concert is as follows.
It will start at 6:30 pm with the 5th and 6th grade band performances followed by the 4th through 6th grade vocal performances. There will then be a brief intermission before the Middle School Band and the High School Band perform.

📢 Community Update: Proposed New Board District Boundaries 📢
Exciting news for Jackson Heights: USD 335! With the recent full adoption of the Wetmore land into our district, we are updating our Board District Boundaries to reflect this change and maintain fair representation across our community.
The proposed map will change to five districts to ensure all board districts are within 5% of each other in population, based on the latest census data. These updates are designed to keep representation balanced and equitable for everyone in the district.

CALENDAR UPDATE:
The HOME high school basketball games originally scheduled vs JCN on February 25th have been rescheduled to February 12th. Games will start at 4:00 PM. It will still be Senior Night.
Tomorrow's high school basketball games @ Troy will start at 4:00 PM. The JV girls will only play 1/2 of a game, so expect the varsity games to start 30 minutes earlier.

🏀 As the basketball season tips off, we’re excited to announce a new initiative from KSHSAA! This year, the League Sportsmanship Champion will be recognized, celebrating excellence in sportsmanship across players, coaches, spirit squads, pep bands, and spectators. Evaluations will be based on regular season basketball contests using a sportsmanship rubric, and the winning school will be awarded a championship trophy.
