High/Middle School Football Camp will be July 8th - July 12 from 9:00AM to 11:30AM. Weights will be at the normal time (7:00 AM, Monday-Thursday).

"Here are a few pictures from the State High School Clay Tournament. I can not be more proud of the team and their work. We had three members only one shot away from the 25 in a row patch. The picture of Jace Robinson and me on the left shows him with his 25 in a Row patch in his hand and he shot 49 in a Row just one shy of the 50 in a Row patch. "
For the innaugural year for the outdoor skills program, the team did some pretty amazing things from the air rifle tournaments, the archery team in the winter, and now a state qualified team for trap. We can't wait to see they do next year! Go Cobras!
The Honor Flight's tenth mission has been completed successfully. there were laughs, tears, and a whole lot of healing being done for 47 incrible men who served this country in times of war, and we could not be more proud of them.
On the Honor flight, we have an evening briefing where Mr. Smith will discuss the day and finish with a time honored tradition that all veterans know and love. Mail Call. It is when the CO would hand out todays letters to the troops. Everyone loved to read those letters from home. We had families write letters to their veterans and send them to us. It is not to late to get in the game. If you would like to send the veterans on this trip some love. Please comment on the schools facebook post and Mr. Smith will read the comments during Mail Call Friday night. Or if you want to write something more substantial. Email Mr. Smith (derek.smith@jhcobras.net) before 11:00 pm tonight and he will print it off and put in a veterans packet for the trip. Thank you for your support.
Honor Flight is only two days away, but we want to start to thank all those that have supported the program. Here are the Blue level members who have so generously supported the Veterans.
Also we will have some extra HF shirts. If you would like to purchase one. they will be for sale for $20 a piece in the district office. Proceeds will go towards the next honor flight.
There will be a Jackson County Community Band rehearsal at 6:00pm in the Jackson Heights Band room this evening. All Band students 7-12 and community members who play an instrument are welcome. The concert will be this Saturday June 8th at 6:00pm on the Square in Holton

Chesnea Cochren medals 7th place in the javelin (119-04)
Dawson Cochren medals 3rd in the discus (126-07)
Kyson makes the medal stand finishing 6th in the 100M (11.23)
Kyson Proffitt makes the finals in the 100M. He will run the finals at 1:05PM today.
Kyson Proffitt made finals in the 200M and tied the school record with a 22.70. He’ll compete in the finals tomorrow at 6:15.
This is a friendly reminder that summer weights for our 7-12 athletes will begin on May 28th. The boys will meet in the weight room at 7:00 AM and the girls will meet at 8:30 AM. Athletes can use the bus barn entrance.
