Fans traveling to Horton for games this week are encouraged to take the alternate route through Whiting to get to Horton High School to avoid construction on Highway 75.

Admission to the jamboree is free.
We are looking for another car donation for the 2nd annual car bash. Students had a great time doing it last year. If you or anyone you know has a car that is bound for the junk yard and want it pre tenderized, email Mr. Smith at the high school and we will help you out.

The high school football jamboree is still on for tomorrow night at Jeff West. They have decided to move the start time back to 8:00 PM. We will push out any changes that might come.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the fall pep rally Thursday night. Everything starts at 6:00 pm
Attention Sports Fans: We will be selling both Varsity and and Middle School Sports passes.
The Varsity pass is $50 (Saves $10)
The Middle School pass is $40 (Saves $10)
These passes are good for ten adult entries in any season varsity or middle school event. They will not expire until all ten entries have been met. These are good for Home events only.
Buy yours at the Fall Pep rally, High School Office, or at the gate to any event.

PTO (Parents Teacher Organization) meets tonight, August 22 at 730 pm at the elementary school commons. We will be planning fundraisers and activities for the year at this meeting and electing officers. We'd love to have as many join us as possible!

Our buses don't have AC; they cool down as they move. But they might still be warm during high temps. Riders, we'll be provided bottled water. Let the offices know if you'd like to pick up your student instead. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
ATTENTION!
Due to the heat wave, the high school football team will practice at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning. Coach Wick is asking that athletes try to be at the school by 5:45 AM. Coach Wick will give further instructions to the team for the rest of the week if the heat continues.

Minor change to the middle school football schedule. On October 17th, we will now play Everest instead of St. Benedict. This will be a home game.
