Turning the Tables: Change is Student Led :
John Calvert will be presenting to the district Wednesday November 1st on the following information. He will do a special version for the elementary, then one for the high school and he will finish off the day holding a zoom session that is meant for parents that evening for anyone that wants more information.
" Tired of listening to old people tell you what to do? Do you know that parents have no idea what you are dealing with? GOOD! Leave this session empowered and motivated to be the change you want to see in your community and schools. Learn why positive relationships are the foundation to a positive school climate, and what YOU can do to lead the charge! This presentation will also talk about suicide and empower our kids to ask for help for themselves and/or their peers. This part of the presentation could be triggering for some students, however, counselors will be at the school to help any and all students process their feelings.(1 hour)

Our E-Sports team picked up a big victory last night over the Union City High School Soaring Eagles from New Jersey. They won the match 3-1. The Gold Team now has a record of 2-2 with 2 weeks left in the regular season.

Tomorrow's (October 27th) home football game vs Mission Valley is the first round of the playoffs. The Week 9 Bracket games are treated as a regular season game at the gate. With that said, we WILL honor; NEK League passes, season punch card passes, senior citizen passes, and JH students will get in free. I know it was originally put out there that everyone would have to pay, but that doesn't start until the Regional Round of the playoffs.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at Dave Henry Field.
