Mrs. McAlpine was just named as a semi-finalist for Kansas Teacher of the year.

Mrs. McAlpine and Mr. Henry recieved their awards for being nominated at the Kansas Teacher of the Year banquet.




To get ahead of the incoming rain tonight, The baseball game start time has been moved up to 4:00 pm. The game is still at the Jewish Community center in Overland park 5801 w 115th st.
Reminder: Cobra Channel will not be streaming the baseball or softball games.

Jackson Heights High School has artwork displayed at the Topeka Art Guild & Gallery during the month of March! You are invited to the opening during Topeka's First Friday Art Walk on March 3rd from 5-8 PM. You can also stop by during their hours Wed-Sat 11 AM-5 PM through 4/1.

GIRLS BASKETBALL UPDATE:
The girls basketball team will play in the 2nd round of sub-state on Friday @ Horton HS vs Valley Falls. The game will start at approximately 7:30 PM.

The highlight of this year’s KMEA was the chance to meet Mr. Quaver himself, Graham Hepburn! He is the creator of Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music, an online music curriculum. He was so nice and humble. He loved the posters we made for him and thanked me for doing that. He even got his phone out to take pictures of them!
